The Blackhorse Accommodation

The room was right at the back of the building, so very quiet. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. Convenient location to explore the town.

Our room was very clean and comfortable and the landlord and landlady, welcoming. The hotel is ideally located for exploring Dumfries & Galloway. Buses to Dumfries, Girvan and Wigtown leave from just down the road. The pub also does tasty pizzas in the evening

This hotel is a cosy, clean place if you're travelling and need an overnight stay. There is a lovely big bar/restaurant downstairs. So keep this in mind if you just want to sleep. The noise is low and acceptable.. The room was small but I can assure you comfy.. The mattress and pillow... Bliss...

I was very comfortable and slept well. The room was clean and spacious. The location was great and gave me access to everything I wanted to do and easy walks to places for dining, shopping, activities and bus stops.
